And indeed their quilted products are true pieces of art. The research of human sleeping habits forms the basis for a responsible production of bedding goods. This very idea incited Gerd Billerbeck 50 years ago to establish a research team that developed into the Foundation for Sleep and Health in the year 1984.

It was the task of this Foundation from the very beginning to search for the best conditions for a healthy sleep. The results of this research have been implemented permanently in the development of our products. The Foundation for Sleep and Health has reinforced our conviction: The diversity of human beings can be found back in the very individual sleeping needs. Each person has his own anatomical and biochemical characteristics, which are reflected in his own individual sleeping culture. This idea defines our philosophy to this very day: for each and every one there is the right quilt and the right pillow.
